Bétou is a town located in the far northern region of the Republic of the Congo. It is situated on the right bank of the Ubangi River within the Likouala Department.
The town sits near the border with the Central African Republic. It is positioned approximately 90 km (56 mi) from the border by road or 45 km (28 mi) by river.
