Bossangoa

Central African Republic

Bossangoa is the capital city of Ouham, which is one of the 20 prefectures located in the Central African Republic. The town has a recorded population of 36,478 residents.

Geographically, Bossangoa is situated approximately 303 km (189 mi) north of Bangui, the capital of the country. The Ouham River flows through the city before passing over several waterfalls to the east and eventually turning north to join the Chari River in Chad.
