Boende is a city located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It serves as the capital of Tshuapa Province and is situated along the banks of the Tshuapa River.

The city functions as a river port, facilitating travel via riverboats that sail to Kinshasa through Mbandaka. Additionally, Boende is home to an airport. As of 2009, the city had an estimated population of 36,158, and Lingala is the national language used locally.
