Gemena is the capital city of Sud-Ubangi Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As of 2017, the city had a recorded population of 350,511.
The city features a large airport and serves as a military location for the 10th integrated Brigade of the new FARDC, which has been stationed there since 2007.
