Isiro

Isiro, formerly known as Paulis, is the capital city of Haut-Uele Province located in the northeastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The city is situated geographically between the equatorial forest and the savannah.

The primary resource of the area is coffee. Isiro has an estimated population of approximately 182,000 people, with the most common languages spoken by residents being Pa-Zande, Lingala, and Swahili.
