Bakwa is a district located in the Farah province of Afghanistan. Its administrative center is the town of Sultani Bakwa, and the region sits at an elevation of 726 meters above sea level.
The population of the district was estimated to be 79,529 in November 2004. The demographic makeup of the area consists primarily of Pashtuns, with a minority population of Tajiks.
