Lukolela is a town located in the Équateur Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is situated on the bank of the Congo River, positioned directly opposite the town of Loukolela in the Republic of Congo.
The town is notable for its geographical location along the river border and serves as the namesake for the Lukolela Swamp Rat.
