Academy is a city located in Canada.

The term academy generally refers to an institution of tertiary education. Historically, the name originates from Plato's school of philosophy, which was founded around 386 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary dedicated to Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece.

According to the Royal Spanish Academy, an academy can also be defined as a scientific, literary, or artistic society established with public authority. Additionally, it may serve as a teaching establishment, whether public or private, for professional, artistic, technical, or practical purposes.
