Yorkton is a city located in southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada. It serves as the sixth-largest city in the province and is situated approximately 300 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon and 450 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The city was founded in 1882 and officially incorporated as a city in 1928. Geographically, Yorkton is bordered by the rural municipality of Orkney to the north, west, and south, while it is bordered by the rural municipality of Wallace to the east.
