Swift Current is the sixth-largest city in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located along the Trans Canada Highway and is situated approximately 254 kilometres west of Regina, the provincial capital. The city lies between Moose Jaw to the east and Medicine Hat, Alberta, to the west.
The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Swift Current No. 137. As of 2021, Swift Current had an estimated population of 16,750, representing a growth of 0.9% from the 16,604 residents recorded during the 2016 census.
