Sherbrooke is a city located in southern Quebec, Canada. It is situated at the confluence of the Saint-François and Magog rivers within the heart of the Estrie administrative region. The city's boundaries are coextensive with a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of the same name.
According to the Canada 2021 Census, Sherbrooke has a population of 172,950 residents, making it the sixth largest city in Quebec and the 30th largest in the country. The Sherbrooke Census Metropolitan Area, which includes a larger surrounding population, ranks as the fourth largest metropolitan area in Quebec and the 19th largest in Canada.
