Quebec is a province located in Central Canada and serves as the country's largest province by area. It shares land borders with the provinces of Ontario to the west, Newfoundland and Labrador to the northeast, New Brunswick to the southeast, and the territory of Nunavut to the north. To the south, it shares a border with the United States.
The province is notable for being Canada's only Francophone-majority province, where Québécois French is spoken. With a population of approximately eight million people, Quebec is the second-most populous province in Canada, following Ontario.
