Dorval is an on-island suburban city located on the island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is characterized by having the largest surface area on Montreal's west side while remaining one of the least densely populated areas in the region.
A significant portion of the city's geography is occupied by the Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, which constitutes approximately 60% of Dorval's total land area. Due to this large infrastructure, the city's entire population is concentrated within its southern section.
