Dollard-des-Ormeaux is a city and a predominantly English-speaking suburb located in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is situated on the Island of Montreal and holds the distinction of being the most populous suburb in that region.
The municipality was named in honor of Adam Dollard des Ormeaux, who was recognized as a savior during the Battle of Long Sault.
