Ottawa South is a federal electoral district located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It serves as a political constituency represented in the House of Commons of Canada by David McGuinty, who is the brother of former Ontario Premier and Ottawa South MPP Dalton McGuinty.
The riding is characterized as a suburban, generally middle-class area that holds the distinction of having the highest Arab population in the province of Ontario. Since it was first contested in 1988, the district has been held continuously by Liberal candidates and is recognized as one of the strongest Liberal ridings in the country.
