Orillia is a city located in the province of Ontario, Canada. Situated approximately 30 km north-east of Barrie, it lies within the Huronia region of Central Ontario. The city is geographically positioned at the confluence of Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe.
Although Orillia is located within Simcoe County, it functions as a single-tier municipality. As of 2021, the city had a recorded population of 33,411 residents.
