Smithfield is a neighborhood and former village located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated north of the west branch of the Humber River and west of Kipling Avenue.
The area takes its name from the former village of Smithfield, which was originally positioned at the intersection of Albion Road and Martin Grove Road. The neighborhood is notably characterized by a large amount of affordable public housing, making it a destination for new immigrants to Canada and new residents of Toronto.
