Mimico is a neighborhood located in the southwest area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Situated on the shores of Lake Ontario, it occupies the southeast corner of the former Township of Etobicoke.
Historically, Mimico functioned as an independent municipality for over five decades, from 1911 until its incorporation into the larger city structure in 1967.
