Innisfil is a town located in Ontario, Canada, situated on the western shore of Lake Simcoe within Simcoe County. It is positioned immediately south of the city of Barrie and approximately 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Toronto.
Historically characterized as a rural area, Innisfil has experienced significant residential development in recent years. This growth is attributed to its geographical location between two high-growth regions: Barrie and the York Region.
