Guelph is a city located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It serves as the seat of Wellington County, although it remains politically independent from the county.
The city is situated at the intersection of Highway 6, Highway 7, and Wellington County Road 124. Geographically, it lies approximately 22 kilometres east of Kitchener and 70 kilometres west of Downtown Toronto. Guelph is also known by the nickname "The Royal City."
