Brampton is a city located in the province of Ontario, Canada. It serves as the regional seat of the Regional Municipality of Peel and is situated within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Geographically, it is positioned in the Greater Golden Horseshoe urban area, where it ranks as the third most populous city behind Toronto and Mississauga.
