Lake Country

Lake Country is a district municipality located in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. It serves as part of the Kelowna metropolitan area and falls within the Central Okanagan Regional District. Geographically, the municipality is situated between the city of Kelowna to the south and the city of Vernon to the north.

The region is characterized by its numerous lakes, which are located both within the municipal boundaries and in the surrounding hills to the east. Specifically, Lake Country encompasses all of Wood Lake and the southernmost portion of Kalamalka Lake. Okanagan Lake serves as the western boundary for the municipality. The district has a population of approximately 15,000 residents.
