Kitsilano is a neighborhood located in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is situated along the southern shore of English Bay, positioned between the areas of Fairview and West Point Grey. The neighborhood's boundaries are defined by Burrard Street to the east, Alma Street to the west, and 16th Avenue to the south.
The area is primarily residential in character but features two prominent commercial districts along West 4th Avenue and West Broadway. These streets are well-known for hosting a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and organic food markets. The neighborhood was named in honor of Squamish chief August Jack Khatsahlano.
