Kelowna is a city located on Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley, situated in the southern interior region of British Columbia, Canada. It serves as the administrative head office for the Regional District of Central Okanagan.

The name Kelowna originates from the Okanagan word kiʔláwnaʔ, which refers to a grizzly bear.
