East Hastings

Canada

Hastings Street is an east–west traffic corridor located in the cities of Vancouver and Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Historically, the route served as a component of the decommissioned Highway 7A.

In the downtown central business district of Vancouver, the thoroughfare is designated as West Hastings Street. At Carrall Street, it transitions into East Hastings Street, running eastward through East Vancouver and into Burnaby. In the city of Burnaby, the street loses its east–west designation.

The corridor concludes in the Westridge neighborhood at the base of Burnaby Mountain. At this terminus, it joins the Burnaby Mountain Parkway and diverges from the continuation of the former Highway 7A, which proceeds as the Barnet Highway toward Port Moody, British Columbia.
