Downtown Vancouver is the central city district of Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. It is situated on the northwestern shore of the Burrard Peninsula within the Lower Mainland region.
The area occupies most of the north shore of False Creek inlet. This geographical feature cuts into the Burrard Peninsula to create the Downtown Peninsula, which encompasses notable landmarks such as Stanley Park and the West End neighborhood.
