Central Saanich is a district municipality located on the Saanich Peninsula in the far south-east of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. It serves as a member municipality of the Capital Regional District and is situated within the Greater Victoria area. The region is recognized as the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ people.
Originally established as a farming community, the district maintains a landscape characterized by vineyards and both working and hobby farms. In recent decades, Central Saanich has experienced significant residential, commercial, and industrial growth. This development is particularly concentrated around the neighborhoods of Brentwood Bay and Saanichton, which are sometimes identified as distinct communities.
