Sherwood Park is a large suburban hamlet located in Alberta, Canada. It is situated within Strathcona County and is officially recognized as an urban service area. The community is positioned adjacent to the eastern boundary of the City of Edmonton.
Historically, Sherwood Park was confined to the area south of Highway 16, west of Highway 21, and north of Highway 630. However, since the beginning of the 21st century, portions of the hamlet have expanded beyond Yellowhead Trail and Wye Road. Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216) serves as a dividing line between Refinery Row to the west and the residential and commercial areas to the east.
