Mookane is a village located in the Central District of Botswana. It is situated approximately 150 km north-east of the national capital city, Gaborone.
The village consists of several wards, including Borotsi, Letswere, Mosanta, and Tshipana. According to the 2011 census, Mookane had a population of 3,283 residents. It is surrounded by the neighboring villages of Dibete, Mmaphashalala, and Phala Road.
The local infrastructure includes educational facilities such as Mookane Primary School and Mookane Community Junior Secondary School, along with a health clinic serving the community.
