Thamaga is a large village situated in the Kweneng District of Botswana. Located approximately 40 km west of the national capital, Gaborone, it serves as a significant residential area within the region.
According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 19,547 inhabitants. Due to its proximity to the capital, Thamaga is increasingly developing as a suburb and forming part of the larger Gaborone agglomeration.
