Gurupi is a city and municipality located in the Brazilian state of Tocantins. It occupies a total area of 1,836 square kilometers with an average elevation of approximately 287 meters within the city limits.
As of the 2020 census, the population of Gurupi was estimated at 87,545 inhabitants. This figure ranks the municipality as the third-largest in the state of Tocantins.
