Arcoverde is a municipality located in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It is situated within the mesoregion of Sertão Pernambucano and covers a total area of 344 km². The city lies approximately 256 km west of the state capital, Recife.
The geographic boundaries of Arcoverde are defined by several neighboring regions. To the north, it borders the state of Paraíba, while its southern boundaries meet the municipalities of Buíque and Pedra. It is bordered by Pesqueira to the east and Sertânia to the west.
