Goianira is a municipality located in the central region of the Brazilian state of Goiás. It is situated approximately 32 kilometers northwest of Goiânia, which serves as the state capital.
The municipality covers a total area of 200.4 km² and had a recorded population of 45,296 in 2020. Economically, Goianira is developing into a significant center for shoe production.
