Votorantim is a city situated in the southwestern region of São Paulo State, Brazil. It is located approximately 100 km (62 mi) from the state capital and serves as part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba.
The municipality covers a total area of 183.52 km2 (70.86 mi2), which includes 30 km2 (12 mi2) of urban territory and 147 km2 (57 mi2) of rural land. As of the most recent data, the city has a population of 127,923.
