Vinhedo is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Situated within the Metropolitan Region of Campinas, the city covers an area of 81.60 km² (31.51 mi²) and sits at an elevation of 777 meters (2,549 ft). It was officially founded in 1949.
As of 2020, the city had a population of 80,111 residents, resulting in a population density of 981 inhabitants per square kilometer. The municipality is highly developed, with an urbanization rate of 96%.
