Mairinque is a municipality located in the central region of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Situated approximately 70 km from the state capital, it is positioned near the city of Sorocaba and forms part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba.
The municipality covers a total area of 210.15 km² and has a population of 47,441 residents. It sits at an elevation of 850 meters (2,955 ft) above sea level.
