Jacareí is a city located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It covers an area of 464.27 km² and has a population of 250,952 residents.
The city's economy is primarily driven by industrial production, with major manufacturing sectors including paper, chemicals, glass, wire, and rubber. Due to the significant daily output of its local factories, Jacareí is known as the "Capital of Beer," housing what is considered the largest beer production in Latin America.
