Itanhaém is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It was founded on April 22, 1532, and currently serves as part of the Metropolitan Region of the Baixada Santista.
The city covers an area of 601.85 km² (232.38 sq mi) with a mean elevation of 4 meters. As of recent data, the municipality has a population of 112,476 residents.
