Indaiatuba is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Situated at an elevation of 624 meters (2,047 feet), it occupies a total area of 311.5 square kilometers (120.3 square miles) and serves as part of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas.
The city's name originates from the Tupi language and translates approximately to "gathering of palm trees." It is recognized as an important urban center within one of Brazil's primary industrial regions, with a population of 255,748 residents.
