Franca is a municipality located in the northeastern portion of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is situated approximately 401 km from the state capital of São Paulo and 676 km from the national capital, Brasilia.
The city covers a total area of 605.679 km2, with its urban area encompassing 86.92 km2. According to the 2022 Census, Franca has a population of 352,536 residents.
