Carapicuíba is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is situated within the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo and covers a total area of 34.55 square kilometres (13.34 sq mi).
The city has a population of 398,236 residents. Due to its high concentration of inhabitants relative to its land size, it is recognized as one of the most densely populated municipalities in the state of São Paulo.
