Araçatuba is a city situated in the northwestern region of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located approximately 532 kilometers (331 miles) away from the capital city of São Paulo.
The city covers an area of 1,167 square kilometers (451 sq mi) and has a population of 208,415 inhabitants as of 2025. Its name originates from the Tupi language and translates to "abundance of araçá."
