Sapiranga

Sapiranga is a city located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. It has a population of approximately 80,000 inhabitants and is situated within an industrial region known as Vale dos Sinos, adjacent to the Rio dos Sinos.

The local economy is primarily centered on the shoe industry. While other industries exist in the area, they are largely interconnected with shoe manufacturing, including metallurgic plants that produce the machinery used in the production process.
