Pinhais is a municipality located in the state of Paraná, Brazil. It is situated within the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba and serves as one of the smaller urban centers in the province.
The city was officially emancipated from the municipality of Piraquara in 1992. According to the 2022 Census, Pinhais has a population of 127,019 residents. It is distinguished by its geography as the smallest municipality in Paraná by land area.
