Paranaguá is a city located in the state of Paraná, Brazil. Established in 1648, it holds the distinction of being the oldest city in the state.

The city is primarily known for the Port of Paranaguá, which stands as one of the largest ports in Brazil. It serves as a vital sea link for Curitiba, the capital of Paraná, situated approximately 110 kilometres (68 mi) to the west.
