Abaetetuba

Abaetetuba is a city located in the northeastern part of Pará State in the northern region of Brazil. Situated at a latitude of 01°43'05" south and longitude 48°52'57" west, the municipality lies on the right bank of the mouth of the Tocantins River.

The city serves as the hub for the Baixo Tocantins Region and ranks as the sixth most populous city in Pará State, with a total municipal population of 158,188. The municipality is divided into two districts: the headquarters district of Abaetetuba and the district of Beja.
