Juiz de Fora, also known as J.F., is a city located in the southeastern region of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the state border with Rio de Janeiro.
As of the 2022 census, the municipality had a population of 540,756 residents. The city covers a total geographical area of 1,437 km² (555 sq mi).
