Guaxupé is a Brazilian municipality situated in the southwest region of the state of Minas Gerais. It belongs to the Sul e Sudoeste de Minas meso-region and falls within the micro-region of São Sebastião do Paraíso.
The city was officially established as a municipality in 1837. As of the 2020 census, Guaxupé had an estimated population of 52,078 inhabitants residing across a total land area of 286 km².
