Divinópolis is a municipality located in the centre-west region of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Situated at an elevation of 712 metres, the city covers a total area of 709 km² and maintains an estimated population of 243,583 inhabitants as of 2025.
The city is located approximately 120 km from the state capital, Belo Horizonte. It serves as the seat of the Regional Administration of the Upper São Francisco River.
