Coronel Fabriciano is a municipality located in the state of Minas Gerais within the Southeast region of Brazil. It is situated in the Vale do Rio Doce region, approximately 200 km away from the state capital.
The municipality covers a total area of 221.252 km² (85.426 sq mi). According to the 2022 Census conducted by the IBGE, the population of Coronel Fabriciano was estimated at 104,736 inhabitants.
